Milly's Miracle Story Part 2

          So Milly was taken off the table and rushed out of the room, I was left standing completely numb and totally shocked. Still crying and shaking as the full enormity of the situation started to sink in, Dai led me out of the vets and we then returned home .......  we didn't speak and I think we were both in so much shock, I don't know how he drove home cos I don't think I would have been able ??

       Its always the quiet ones who seem to be able to hold everything together, mind you I think he had to cope cos I wasn't doing that well !!

             This was Milly (Pink Bandana) George (Spotty Bandana) 

                                    and  Sidney (Black Bandana)

                We arrive home and are greeted at the door by some very quiet children, and for you that know my lot that is a record cos my children are anything but quiet ?? To be fair they were amazing and at the ages of 14 and 12  they were a total credit and I was very proud of both of them. Not only were they still standing there, but they had Cleaned up the entire Blood Bath. 

        They had also managed to find Sidney who was apparently trying to dig to China from behind the television set !! George who was trying and failing to get back into their bed the last time I saw him, had also calmed down. Mainly due to the fact that while Ben sorted the kitchen carnage, Emma had held Sidney and George on her lap and cuddled them until Ben had finished cleaning !!

        They had then sat on the chairs each holding a baby and cuddled them until we got back, so as we pulled up 2 shocked kids and 2 calmed down Puglets greeted us at the door. I told them the basic's about how Sian had been there for Milly , I didn't tell them about the 50/50 or Lower odds ! there are some things that need to be hidden from Babies of all ages !

       First thing I did was go and apologise to Fizzles ....... she was sitting in her bed looking all confused. I sat by her and she climbed on my lap all 10 stone of Muscle Bound Baby, and I just sat with her and my numbness easing. This is what I miss about not having my Fizzly around, she was my rock and we had this incredible connection. Whenever I was sad or low I would just BE with my Fizzles, neither of us needed to say anything. We just needed to be next to each other and she was my strength and I was hers.

      But I'm off topic again ! so I sat for 10 minutes and got myself together, I went to the shower and tried to wash the blood off everything that was covered ! I got out of the shower on time for Sian's phone call, She said that it looked like she had damaged her inside of her mouth ?? and it was definitely not a bite, even though neither of us had thought it was. 

       She was having oxygen and fluids and they'd given her pain relief and a blood Transfusion. They also still didn't think her chances were very good, but they would have to see if she went into shock or not ??

       I got off the phone and had 3 expectant faces looking at me, so I said she was feeling a bit better and she was sleeping ?? I then gave the look to Dai ......... and we left the room and I told him it all ! Sian had also asked if she was insured as if she needed an operation it would be expensive ?? 

       Now as I told you in part 1 I microchip the puppies in their NEW   families name and Address, well when you microchip a dog you get 4 weeks free insurance ??
        
        Dai rang them and this is where I get my butt bitten ...... they would not pay for anything for her as she wasn't at the same address as her form !      

        Brilliant Isn't IT !!

      The next few hours were a blur and I just sat by the phone waiting ........ then Damien rang he's another vet, and he's always accepted me as a total nut case, which is probably not far off it ! He rang and told us to come and see him, when we arrive at the Surgery we are taken in to see Milly. 

       Well Oh my ...... she was lying in a oxygen tent and she was so tiny. Her entire face was so swollen she didn't even look like a dog any more it was awful. 

        I walk over to her and I call her BUBB~A~LUB its how I call all my babies,  when I want their attention ?? She opens her lil pug eyes and her lil tail starts wiggling and she tries to crawl over to me, but her tube's won't let her. I put my arm in and stroke her and her lil tail is wiggling, she closes her eye's and just settles instantly. 

         Well as normal I'm crying and Damien whose completely used to me just smiles at Dai, and Dai just shakes his head !!!

       Damien then explains that they don't really know what was wrong with her as they didn't want to do much to her as they were scared she would go into Shock and then not recover ?? But she was breathing unaided which was a good sign, but her face was so swollen they couldn't see what was what ?? 

 If she made it for a couple of hours they would X~ray her and see what had actually happened to her ??

      Damien then asks was she insured  ?? I point out the whole Insurance Conversation ??? 

            But I said I didn't care if they could do something then I wanted it done !! I told him that I had £2000-00 that was my share of the profits from the litter and that if he could do something for around that then just Do IT !!

             He said that he'd try to help her but he wasn't promising ......... I said I don't care about the money just make her better !! Damien knew how I felt about my puppies ..... especially after I was given this lil Corgi Puppy whose mother had died, and it had then been left to virtually die in a box ??? 

             My friend had called me and told me the story, and within 5 Minutes I had told her go there and pick it up !!

 I hand reared this lil baby feeding her every 2 hours ~ 24 hourly !!

      But because she hadn't been fed for such a long time and hadn't been cared for....... After 2 weeks of bottle feeding her she developed a twisted gut !! 

      Now Damien was with me when I asked the owner of the puppy whether they would pay for her operation .......... they said NO and they then demanded that she had to be put to sleep !! 

        I was left totally heart broken........ I said there and then that if she had been my puppy,  I would have paid for the operation without thinking twice...... Damien had then said that he knew I would have, so he knew that I would never give up on any animal of mine, and 

                                  

  I was not prepared to give up on Milly ..... NOW.

               We leave our lil Milly Mooz to rest up, and Damien say's there is nothing else they can do, it depends on her will power, and whether she went into Shock over night ??? 

          But if  had made it this far she was a lil fighter, and they were not gonna give up on her either. He would then X~ray her in the morning, and we would see what we were looking at then ?    I was told to go home, rest up and he'd phone me in the morning, as soon as he knew something.

     After a sleepless night I woke early to find Milly's Mum, hunting around the house for her 3rd Puppy, its something that is really hard to watch. There is no way that you can explain to her, as to where Milly was or what had happened to her ?? But she knew something had happened and she wanted her baby back.

          I ring first thing in the morning and I get told that this lil brave girl had survived the night, and Damien would be X~raying her first thing, and he'd ring me back as soon as he knew more. I am probably admit to being the most  IMPATIENT  person I know  !! 

           But God I hate waiting around its a complete nightmare for me and a part of me that will never change, no matter how many Camomile Tea's that I drink ! Well I waited and waited eventually ..............
      
       Damien rings me ......... he said that Milly's entire Palate of her mouth had been shoved up through the roof of her mouth and burst through all her nasal Cavity ????  and yep it's as bad as it sound's and worse !! It is something that I had never heard of happening, and it's something that NONE of the Vet's in the Surgery had heard of either. 

      With my voice breaking and my heart racing I ask him the question ....... can you do anything for her ???

He say he doesn't know ...... not very helpful Damien !!! 

             But what he is thinking about doing is ringing up the leading Veterinary Place, that has Britain's highest trained Specialists / Surgeons.  What he wanted to do, was to ask them to Look at the X~rays and then get them to TELL HIM, 

            What and How to try to mend the Damage, that Milly had  DONE  TO  HERSELF !!  and if I would let him , he would then try to do what they suggested ??? 

         I told him, that I would allow him to try anything, and if they would tell him their suggestions then I of Course would want him to do it. I thanked him Soooo Much for trying to help and I would let him do whatever he thought was best for our lil Milly....... as I was not prepared to give up on the special lil girl. 

           Milly had shown us, her true fighter  SPIRIT,  and I was going to go as far as she would,  to get her better. Damien says he will contact the Surgeons and get back to me  ASAP.

        Over two hour's later at around 2~30pm I get the call from Damien, He said he had spoken to the Specialist and that they wanted us to take the X~rays, and  MILLY  to the actual Veterinary Hospital. and to have a meeting with the Top Surgeon at the Place !!  

        They also Wanted to see us in The  Hospital  by  4~30pm  we were to come to the Surgery, ASAP to collect Milly and her Stuff.
         
       Also they needed to tell me what to do if she stopped.........

       BREATHING  on  the  JOURNEY !! 

       For us to collect her X~rays and Milly herself, and then go to The Hospital in less than 2 Hours and not to WORRY because he said that the Specialist said that they would charge me less that the £2000-00 for him to take a look at Milly !!!

       Who Cares About Money ....... 

             What About The Stopping Breathing ???

Milly's Miracle Story Part 1

         Milly is Mitzi's Puppy from her 2009 Litter, I know I joke around about how Awful this seriously Bonkers Puglet is ........... But to be honest I had this instant bond with this Seal~Point Puggly, and even though all my family members claim, that she never made an impression on any of them. I adored this laid back and funny lil girl, and to be honest I was secretly glad that her sale's kept falling through !! 

           But like I said in the page I wrote about the 2009 Milly Litter this falling through of her new home's happened 3 times and it's something that has never happened before or since ??       So I guess that Milly was destined to be our's ! It would have been a whole lot better for my psychological benefit had she just whispered in my ear .......
                          Instead of scaring the life out of me with her accident !!!

           I'm jumping ahead of myself again !! So back again, as I mentioned above Milly had been chosen by 3 families already. One of these families was actually Jet's family as they couldn't decide on which puppy they wanted and then they made the choice of Jet ! Another family then decided on her, but to be honest I didn't CLICK instantly with them as something was off ??? So after thinking it over and them messing me about, I told them that I didn't think that Milly was right for them ! ( I will never sell a puppy to anyone who I don't instantly like and I always go with my GUT INSTINCTS in every aspect of my life !! )

      Then her other New Home Wanabee was that she was going to be a Birthday present for a woman, from her boyfriend and they split up ??? 

      We then found a lovely girl who picked our Milly, but she wouldn't be able to pick her up before 10 weeks old, so as we were already keeping George and Sidney for a bit longer as George's family were on Honeymoon, and Sidney's were only able to pick him up till he was 9 weeks old, due to work commitments. 
       I was fully prepared to keep Cariad ( welsh word for Love ) this was the name the new owners of Milly had picked for her !! So Miss Cariad was staying a bit longer and that was fine with me. 

        As people who have had my puppies will know that not only do I give my puppies the 1st Full Inoculation, but I also get all my puppies Micro Chipped. I also get them Micro Chipped in their new homes address and name, as I think it's disgusting that you pay more for the transfer of Name than I pay for the Micro Chipping in the first place !!! This is something that as this Story continue's will come back to bite me on the butt !!!

         So we settled in with the Terrible Triplet's and life continued as normal, I took pictures and films constantly and tried to install some manner's into 3 Rambunctious  Puglet's !! As you can see from this lil film !!  Getting puppies to sit stay and wait for their dinner makes them better behaved, respectful and make's picture taking a whole lot easier, you will see what I mean when I tell you the Next Litter Story which was a total of 10 puppies !!!!

                   As life continued as normal, waking up by 6am to keep Puglet's Clean, Comfy and Fed !! We passed each morning the same way, until the day that Milly decided to shock us !! As the puppies were older and busier they were allowed to run around all over and be the puppies that they were !!

       We did the same thing every morning and every day, and then it happened and to this day no~one, not I nor the Specialist and even my vet ......... No~one in fact the only one that really know's is Milly and 
       She Ain't Telling No~one no matter how many time's we ask !!!   

        So I turn around to get the puppies food !!! When all hell erupts the 3 Puppies are screaming and Fizz coming racing into the kitchen aggressively barking ( Thinking back on it now I think She must have thought we were being attacked and was coming into protect us and the babies  ??? )
 ...... now anyone who knows dogs and volatile situations when there are Dogs or Puppies Screaming then whoever is screaming louder is normally the one that's going to be attacked !! 
       When you have a situation like this the main thing is to get the most dangerous dog out of the way first and then deal with the screamer !!! 

         At this point I screamed at Fizz and threw something at her she then runs out of the kitchen with a Look of 

             I didn't do anything why, You screaming at me ????   

         But right at that moment I didn't know what had happened and I didn't know whether Fizzly had done anything or NOT ?? So at that moment I just wanted to get rid of the biggest Danger and that was My Fizzles !!

                I then looked down on the floor to see what the Bloody Hell was going on !!!  I looked around and Milly was Screaming in pain ....... I spun around to see George trying to jump back into their bed ??? and Sidney was nowhere to be seen ???? 

         I pick up Milly who has gone quiet .......... Almost instantly her face literally explodes ??? I can't ever exaggerate this story, I don't need too her face exploded with BLOOD !! Now I'm a medical person and I'm also the first point of Call  for anyone who know's me,  whenever a child cracks their head open or a dog runs through barbed wire ...... they call me !! 
       
         So I Don't Panic ....... Well believe me I  PANICKED !

         Milly is beginning to choke on the Blood and is not able to breathe, I run to my drawer in the room where I keep my kitchen towels. I pull the drawer so hard that the whole thing pulls out towels and the complete drawer itself, it smashes into pieces !! All this time I'm holding Milly upside down so the blood is pouring everywhere and she's continuing to choke. I pick up one of the towels and wrap it around her face while still keeping her upside down so she can hopefully breathe a lil better !!

        While I'm doing this Ben and Emma come running from their bedrooms, I think Ben came down the stairs in 2 jumps ! while getting her upside down and the towel around her head , I'm screaming orders out like a Drill Sergeant ........... I send Emma to find Sidney, Ben to put Fizz away and then Find George and for them both to check them over in case they are injured too ??

        I get Dai to phone the vet's bearing in mind its 6am ............ Now to this day we don't know exactly what Milly did ?? But my only conclusion at that precise instant the only thing that I thought, could have happened is that My Fizzly had bitten her face ........ that was the only thing I thought was possible to have caused that much damage and So much BLOOD !!

       He's on the phone talking to the Vet's Call Centre and he's talking but he's not making any head way and he's not doing it FAST enough !!!!! 

       We live in the middle of nowhere and I know that this lil  9 week old puppy is Dying in my arms and I wasn't waiting around to get this stupid Call woman to get her act sorted out ? 

      I grab the phone and just Yell into it ....... It's Zena I have a  9 week old pug puppy who has had  its face Bitten off by a  F*****G  Rottweiler and I want a Vet in the Surgery by 10 minutes ( Not very ladylike but ......... I don't really care ? )

 I scream at Dai get the key's and drive, I tell the kid's to sort out the other babies and we will be back ................ I don't know when. 

                     All this must have happened in less that 3 Minute's !!!

      With that I'm still holding Milly upside down and she's still pouring with Blood and she's Choking to DEATH !!! I jump in the car with Milly who is still gushing blood. I bend her over, so that the Blood is pouring out of her and not into her Lung's and Dai starts the car and we are off ! 

       All the while I'm looking her over and I can't find any puncture wounds anywhere ...... the blood seems to be pouring out from INSIDE her Mouth not from her face ?? The thought's of Fizz actually biting her were  falling by the way as

1) there was no puncture wound's 
                               
2) Basically we were talking about Fizz ??? She wouldn't hurt anything unless it was hurting someone or something she loved !!
                               
3) Milly was STILL ALIVE ???     If a Rottweiler had bitten a 9 week old Pug Puppy then that puppy wouldn't just have Puncture Wound's ....... She wouldn't have had a head ??

           But at this particular time it was the least of my worries ?        Right now I needed to get to my vet's within the next 10 minute's or before this lil lady choked to death on her own  Blood or suffered  Brain Damage from the loss of Blood !!!    ( Mind most people who know Milly would say we were too late for the Brain Damage Part !!! )

       We needed to get to our vet's ASAP and the vet's is 20 minute's away and this lil Puglet is beginning to show signs of not breathing. Well if  Dai  was ever called up as a Stunt Driver he may well get the Job ! Because we got to the Vet's in under 10 minute's and we ran through 2 Red Light's at Traffic Road Works !!
            
       Though I think if a policeman was to pull us over for Speeding and had looked in the car and was to have seen our Milly as she was just then .... 
He would have given us an Police Escort with Blue Flashing Lights !!

           With Milly still hanging upside down, and the towel completely soaked in Blood and I looked like a Chain Saw Massacre Wannabe ?? I must admit that Sian the Vet who greeted us at the door and was  NOT   FAZED in the slightest and we must have looked a  COMPLETE  MESS  !!

         Now my Vet's know me very well, so when Sian saw me in such a state she knew Something was very very BAD !!  and she hadn't got that bit Wrong not in the slightest  !!

         She looked at me and said ok What ??  I put this lil Might on the Table and she's Gasping for Breath, I unwrap the towel, and there's this lil  9 week old puppy who had been white around 15 minutes before was now totally covered in Blood and looked to me like she was fading fast !!

                I explain to Sian quickly that I had thought Fizz had done it and she who knew my Fizzles said Not Fizz !! I said I didn't think so as I was checking her for Punctures or Similar Things and had found nothing ?? She also agreed that a puppy would not have been alive had a Rottweiler actually Bitten her ??

       So I said she's bleeding from inside her mouth and I don't know if she had fallen or what ?? Sian say's She's amazed that she was Still Alive and I'd done a Good Job ....... with that I burst into tears. 

       Sian said she would put her in an oxygen tent and she'd need a Blood Fusion Transplant and its 50/50 if she lived or died ?? For me to go home and wash, Calm down and she'd ring me ASAP with more news ??

Mitzi's 2009 Litter of Puggly Gorgeous Babies !

        As from my last post you all should know that I have had quite a few Puggly Litter's and this is the next story about them. The next litter was one of Mitzi's bigger litter , she had 8 puppies and for a Pugalier that's quite a feat !!

            This was the second litter for Mitzi Mooz and she settled into her pregnancy like a Pro even though by the end of the full 9 weeks she was enormous !!!  As you can see from the picture below !!

            The day came when Mitzi went into Labour on the 17th March 2009 after keeping me up all night on tender hook's she eventually past the 1st Puppy at 5~50am this was a little boy, and by 2pm the same day Mitzi had finally past the final Puppy which was a little girl ! 

       This litter Mitzi loved each and every one of them and her mothering instinct's this time were INSTANT which makes my job all the easier !! This was also the Litter that gave the world Miss Milly so I apologise straight away as she is a complete and utter nutter !!! as anyone who know's her will understand .......... but I'm getting ahead of myself again !! 

           The wonderful thing about breeding these Puglets is the amazing abundance of Puppies and the fact that everyone is a different colour shape or size !!! So every litter was completely different and totally addictive !!
          
           I have bred many various breeds, but I must admit that these Pugglies seem to have the ability to get right under your skin ! These Pug Types seem to have these adorable cheeky characters that means they can get away with anything and everything !!! and do it in a way that has you smiling and laughing and unable to tell them off !!! 
                 Even their own mother wouldn't tell them off as this video show's she just loved them !!

                                             
              What I didn't tell you last time is that Ben and Emma name the Puppies, Ben name's the Boyz and Emma name's the Girlz !! Emma's names are normally slightly more NORMAL than Ben's as this Litter show's !!! 

         
           The first puppy was a Boy and he was born at 5~50am he was a little Tri~Coloured Boy with a big white Bib and 3 White Toe's !! As he was a Boy Ben named him !!!
            
           So TREVOR .... was what Ben decided he should be called !! If any puppy could handle the name of Trevor it was this lil man, he was one of the most cheeky chappie's we have ever bred. He was also the classic bovver boy and had the funniest personality and he was also Ben's Favourite !!!

          Though his new family re-named him BEAU we still seem to call him Trevor, I think because he was Ben's Special Boy !!

          The next baby born was a little Girl and she was Born at 7~20am this girl was a White Seal Point and yep for everyone who know's her ............ This was MILLY !!! But as we were not planning on keeping this Puglet and she was a little girl so Emma choose the name CRYSTAL. I told you Emma pick's more normal name's !          
              Now I know I joke about how awful Milly is ?? in reality I had this instant bond with this lil white fatty ? It's weird how things turn out because I had 3 set's of families that we found for her, But for one reason or another they didn't pan out, which is something that has never happened before or since with any other puppy ?? 
      
        Then at 9 weeks old she had her accident which nearly caused us to lose her ? So I honestly think that we were destined to have Milly Mooz, I just wish she had found an easier way to show us !!! I will be telling the full Milly Story tomorrow for anyone who is interested in the Milly Miracle Story it will be here later !

       The third baby born that day was a gorgeous chunky monkey, he was a little boy and was the colour of Gold. He was born at 8~15am and as he was a boy, it was Ben's Choice !! Ben named the biggest baby of the Litter and the name he picked was BARNEY which is a lot better than some !!!

      His new family own a Hair Salon and this delightful man is the Salon Mascot ! They re~named this gorgeous puglet DOUG the PUG !! and this name is one that I think was perfect choice for this Chunky Monkey ! 

      Doug was one of the sweetest puppies that Mitzi had and his sweet temperament was a Shining Example  for all. He was the biggest Puppy of the Litter, but he was also the gentlest, he would lie in front of the smaller puppies. When they were sleeping to protect them from rambunctious and over zealous playing sibling's !! 
      Personality aside DOUG also had the most amazing Hazel / Gold eye's to go along with an incredible sweetness !

             The fourth puppy was Born at 8~40am and it was a TINY little Red Boy and so Ben's Naming Prowess really come's into PLAY !! Ben's choice for this little rocket pocket Puggly was WOOKIE !! Yes that's right my Son named this little red boy WOOKIE !!! I have no idea why so PLEASE DON'T ASK all I can say is when Ben was a Baby, I used to drop him on his head quite a lot !!

           I know it's SHOCKING, But Lewis who was going to be the new owner of WOOKIE !! decided to CHANGE his name ??? So WOOKIE then became ALFIE MOON !! 

     Now even though this lil man was the 2nd Smallest of the litter, what he lacked for size ?? He definitely made up with ATTITUDE when the word's small and mighty come into play ........ they had ALFIE in mind !! 
       Alfie was one of the cheekiest puppies I have ever known, his whole being oozies out naughty, but he is Sooooo Lovable that he will forever get away with anything !! and if you doubt me just ask Lewis !
         
         From the Glint in his eye you will all know what I say is all so TRUE !!!

             The fifth Puppy was another little Boy ( I know you are all waiting with Bated Breath for what this POOR Puppies name will be !! ) We had a while to wait for this little man .... as we sadly lost a little baby in between him and Alfie. But he came into this crazy world at 11~05am and he was a Sable Coloured with a perfect heart shaped white mark on his chest !!

           I know I have not forgotten his name ......... but this one is the Best Ever so I was making you wait !!
This gorgeous little man was named HANCOCK ! Told you it was GOOD !! Hancock was one of the most STUNNING puppies I have ever had the privilege to breed. He was also a photographer's dream as every picture was lovelier than the last ! 

         When I first talked to Kara and Steve about HANCOCK !! not surprisingly Kara's first question was Yep you guessed it !!! Do we have to keep the name HANCOCK as she did not think it would go down well ? Especially when she had to Yell out the name HANCOCK in the middle of the village park !

          So our little Hancock became GEORGE ! and so we had a gorgeous little man called Georgie Porgie ! and he was a proper little sweetheart and he was a present from Steve for his Wife to be Kara, So I think that they had the ideal puppy ! Not only was he seriously stunning but he also had a perfect shaped heart stamped on his chest !!

             You can all see now how GORGEOUS Georgie Porgie was !!

                 The Sixth Little Puglet was born at 12~41pm and this was a Bouncing Baby Girl ! She had the most amazing Mole ~ Like coat and was Jet Black so not surprisingly Emma named this cheeky girl  JET. 

         JET was a serious cutie and she was a total madam all rolled into one !! Her new family kept her name as JET and to be honest it was perfect choice for this little lady. Not only was she Black but she was also the fastest Puppy in the WEST ! and South,North and East !!! She would run around everywhere and any place where she could get a good Starting Position from !

        JET was also my Husband's Favourite and that's not easy to do ! But this little puggly managed it very quickly and very easily, personally I think if he could have gotten away with stealing her from Aileen I think he would have done it !! 

      Aileen love's JET soooooo much that she amazingly came back for another Puglet ( I know she must be a Glutton for Punishment !! )   Especially as she took the very brave decision to have another puglet ..... But this time she had a puppy from MILLY !!  I warned her that Marley was a nutter but she decided she could not do without her !! so Aileen has 2 of my babies and all she say's is that Marley / Treacle is as Bonker's as I told her she would be and JET take's it all in her stride.

                                           Our Lil Jet !!               

               The Last Boy to be Born came into the world at 1~23pm and he was Silver with a Tiny White Star on his Chest !! Ben's choice of his name was ........... Not that Bad !!! SIDNEY , and SIDNEY he was and SIDNEY he is Still ! Sidney's name was kept and personally it suited him instantly and his Mummy Laura agreed.

                This little boy was completely Bonker's !! he would leap off anything and when they came to collect him ! we told them he was NUT'S and they just smiled !! and then he showed them ......... by jumping off the chair and flying almost the entire length of our lounge !!! They all looked at each other and looked back at Sidney and then looked at us ?? 

               We just laughed and said Yep he's COMPLETELY BONKERS !!

           Sidney was also one of Dai's favourites and Dai would give this cheeky baby his Crust's off his Toast every morning ! He made me promise that I would make sure that Laura knew that Sidney had to have some toast every morning ?? and he say's he doesn't like BABY PUGLET'S !!! But he always manages to bond completely with at least one puppy in each and every litter !!

 This Little Boy may have been BONKER'S but he was also a Serious Sweetie as this Picture Show's

                  The Last but Certainly not Least one was Born around 37 minute's later at exactly 2~00pm and this Puglet was the smallest of them all !! and this baby was a lil red Girl and so Emma decided that her name would be RUBY ! and so Miss RUBY ROO has come into this World ! 

          Big Question was, Was the World ready for Miss RUBY ROO ?? and it's a Question that everyone who know's this tiny red Pocket Rocket will re-soundly scream out Noooo WAY !!!     

                    This lil lady was a complete and utter Star and if Sidney and Alfie we're Bonker's this lil girl took Crazy to a completely new level !! She may have been the smallest one of the litter ........ but she had enough character for the entire LITTER !! I told Michael and Michelle that this lil fire cracker was a total MADAM !!
But I don't think they had any idea how much of a Madam RUBY was until they took her home !!!

         Though in Michaels word's he was already worried about taking RUBY home as they came from Scotland and Michelle had bought a lovely PINK COLLAR and LEAD SET ! for their new totally Macho Dog !! Plus he figured he would actually be the one walking her ???

      I told him to make sure it was Dark, when he walked RUBY ROO and then he SHOULD be Ok ??  Well Maybe !!!

      This Wee Ruby is also the one who was pictured with My Fizzly who seemed to totally adore all puppies , but had a particular Bond with RUBY ROO !!

My Puggly Gorgeous Babies !

      Those of you who know me will know that I have a completely Nutty House full of Dog's, Children and all sorts of Chaos !
        
        You will also know that not only do I normally have a house full of Adult Dog's and now a Charlie , but I also been known to have the occasional litter of puppies !!  As I said in my last post we are planning on World Domination and with my babies we would probably win.

This is Mitzi and her First Litter of Puglet's with Ben my Son !

          But for those of you un~used to world surrounded by Puglets, I will explain all about them right now !
          
          The puppies I have bred for the last few years , I have named Pugglies or Puggly Gorgeous. The first lot of puppies were 3/4 Pugs , the 3/4 was made up of Mummy aka Mitzi who is a Pugalier or King Charles Spaniels cross Pug and Daddy who was a tiny pure Silver Pug with an even bigger personality !!

         This made these puppies seriously gorgeous and smaller and more Puggy than Mummy, but less squashed in Nosey than Daddy !! 

        Mitzi though quieter than her daughter Milly, came out of her shell and became a totally different dog as soon as she had her first litter. Mitzi's first litter was a shock for her and while she was having them she decided, that she would want nothing to do with these lil Alien's that had escaped from her body !!! Which for a young mother is not so strange as it sound's as we are not all natural Parent's instantly. 

        I did not want to push her into motherhood, so I left the babies in a box on a hot water bottle, and in between the birthing of each of the puppies. I would put the new born's onto her to suckle and she would quite willingly let them suckle, but she wouldn't look at them ?? Over the night she finished having the puppies and I stayed up with her.I continued putting the puppies on her to feed every so often, and then I would put them back in their lil hot water bottle bed !!

       Around 5 am I could see that she had calmed down, and she was beginning to take notice of the snuffling and squeaking that was coming from the box ? So I decided to see if she was feeling happier and to see if she had thought about being a mother instead of just a Nurse Maid ? I took the noisiest puppy out of the box ( There is always a NOISIEST puppy !! ) In this litter the Squeaking Star was called Charlie and he was a lil Silver Boy with a proper puggy attitude !

Prince Charlie !!!

               With Mitzi sitting at the bottom of my bed, beginning to watch me very closely ....... I took out Captain Squeak Charlie and sat at the top of the bed. I held Charlie in my hand and put him onto the bed covers with the impression of Just Leaving Him all ALONE !! I put him in her eye sight and moved him so from her view line It LOOKED like he was going to Fall Off the bed !!

       Mitzi looked at me and then looked at SCREECH !! She almost huffed at me and promptly ran up the bed and put her nose under Charlie and pushed him back into the Safety of the Middle of the Bed !! She then curled up into a ball surrounding Charlie and started cleaning him .......... She looked at me then looked at the box as If to say OK get them out NOW !!

Once she had them all out of the box, she polished, cleaned and fed them ! She curled up with them and then seemed to smile and then promptly fell asleep !!

All Sorted Now !

 She then instantly become the most DEVOTED mother, I have ever known.  

        The look of total love and complete happiness that she shows, while looking after and laying with her puppies is the most amazing thing to see and the only word I can think of is that having puppies and being a mother for Mitzi makes her feel  COMPLETE .

                This love leads to the puppies being secure, calm, loveable and have the confidence to go into the world and cope with the wonders of a new family and home with the ability to thrive, and have a zest for life that makes these puppies a joy to know.

        As you can see from the pictures these are some seriously Stunning Puppies but what you can't see in the pictures is the amazingly funny and truly lovable personalities that every one of these puppies have.              
       Though I maybe biased but I know that these puppies have to be seen and held for you to truly appreciate how wonderfully Puggly Gorgeous they are !
